A Letter From Our Co-Founders
Over these last five years, our community has trusted us with some of life's most sacred and vulnerable moments: grief, trauma, healing, relationships, children, breakthroughs, and hope. Every session, every conversation, every life touched has been possible because of the support, generosity, and encouragement we have received from donors, partners, and community members who believed that accessible, culturally responsive mental health care matters.
These years have stretched us, humbled us, and changed us forever. We have witnessed healing happen in real time. We have watched people choose themselves for the first time. We have seen families reconnect, cycles begin to break, and our community slowly begin to embrace the truth that therapy is not weakness, it is courage.
And somehow, together, we built this. Not perfectly. Not easily. But faithfully.
Your support has allowed us to expand access to care for underserved youth, adults, and families through therapy services, community outreach, scholarship support, and culturally affirming programming. Because of you, individuals who may have otherwise gone without support were able to receive care, feel seen, and begin their healing journey.
As we celebrate five years of impact, we do so with immense gratitude. Courageous Healing belongs to this community as much as it belongs to us, and we never want to lose sight of the people who made these walls mean something.
Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for growing with us. Thank you for allowing us to serve.
We are deeply grateful for your continued partnership and look forward to all that is ahead as we continue building healthier individuals, stronger families, and a more healed community together.
With love and gratitude,
Janell & Aaron Lane
