Cameron Shackelford, MSW

Cameron Shackelford is a Licensed Social Worker, LMSW and Associate Therapist at Courageous Healing, specializing in trauma-informed care. He has extensive experience working with Individuals, youth, and families facing complex challenges including trauma, housing and food insecurity, sex trafficking, and suicidal ideation. Cameron is committed to providing effective therapeutic support and advocacy for individuals in need.

Cameron provides therapeutic support and conducts community training on critical issues like youth housing insufficiency, raising awareness and promoting solutions. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Saint Francis and his Master of Social Work from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), where he received the MSW Leadership Award. Since beginning his therapeutic journey, he has found a passion working with Father’s and strong men that suffer in silence.

Beyond his clinical work, Cameron is passionate about mentoring youth and supporting academic achievement through programs such as My Brother's Keeper. His dedication to empowering the next generation aligns with his mission to improve well-being and foster resilience within the community.
