Myqueisha Bratton, MS

Myqueisha Bratton is a Therapist at Courageous Healing, Inc. She is trained in Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Rapid Resolution Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Myqueisha holds an Associates of Science in Law Enforcement, a Bachelor’s of Art in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology, and a Master’s of Science in Mental Health & Counseling.

Prior to Courageous Healing, Myqueisha worked as a home-based therapist, providing play therapy, individual and family counseling. She provided support and trauma-informed care for individuals and families with therapeutic needs such as anger management, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and understanding family dynamics.

In addition to being a Mental Health Therapist, Myqueisha also serves as a High School Basketball Coach. God has blessed her with both the skill set and platform to use what she’s passionate about as a career/ministry to mentor, inspire, and empower young women.

Myqueisha is currently working on a program for athletes to highlight the relationship between mental health and sports. She understands that mental health awareness in sports needs to happen now more than ever. Athletes are not immune to mental health issues, and Myqueisha believes that there needs to be better preventative care, support systems, and interventions for these athletes.
